NEWS

To everyones delight the Sandwich Swing Bridge (aka Toll Bridge) is now back in place and, as of 4th December 2020, working beautifully.  It has undergone a complete make over mechanically - which is what it went away for - but not only that it has had a complete paint job done on it using paints that will see it through the coming years.  It positively gleams and is a credit to those who carried out the work.  A credit also to Kent County Council who oversaw the work - carried out off site giving the opportunity whilst away to carry out repairs to the aged stonework of the bridge.

Welcome back.
